Split-rimmed bowls

Priscilla learned this trick during the classes she attended in the summer. About half way through throwing the bowl you split the rim (like you would if you were creating a gallery for a lid), then finish throwing the bowl and defining the split. It's a nice detail that creates something special from a simple bowl.
